This exciting opportunity to join Frome Community Bike Projects (FCBP) Board of Directors, is for not one, but two people looking to help make a difference in our community.
FCBP is working hard to support and encourage people to cycle more by providing resources, advice and affordable bikes, repairs and servicing. We are also proud to support local charity Frome’s Missing Links, who are creating traffic free routes in and around Frome for all to enjoy.
Rather than advertise for a particular volunteer role, FCBP are keen to hear from anyone interested in being part of their team, exploring what skills and interests you might be able to bring to the board. This is a chance to get involved and shape the direction of the Frome Community Bike Project, ensuring that they can continue to support their community to choose to travel actively, sustainably and healthily both now and in the future.
Emma Parker, FCBP director says,
“The role only requires you to spare a couple of hours a quarter for Board meetings (all fueled by plenty of tea and biscuits of course!) and some volunteering at our events or in the workshop, all very fun and fulfilling! We don’t require someone with loads of Board experience, just someone who’s passionate about active travel and community.”
