Healthy Homes
Frome Town Council’s Healthy Homes team supports residents in and around Frome to make their homes warmer in winter, cooler in summer, and less prone to damp and mould. We offer direct advice, practical support, and information on grant schemes or low-interest loans for those eligible.
A warmer, drier home can help prevent or improve health issues like high blood pressure, respiratory problems, colds, flu, heart disease, and pneumonia. You’ll likely feel better overall, enjoy lower energy bills, and reduce your carbon footprint—all benefiting your health, your pocket, and the planet.
We are always looking for more Energy Advice Champions to join our wonderful team and volunteer their time with Healthy Homes.
Get involved
The Healthy Homes team provides a range of free services, including energy advice session and home visits and funding advice for energy efficient homes, warm and well packs to stay cosy and thermal imaging camera loans to find out where your cold and hot spots are at home.
